Conan!

So I'm back from my adventure to the lovely country Turkey (more about this in an upcoming post I promise) so to occupy your time here's some painting of Conan. The one of him with the sword isn't quite finished, it was a warm up for the larger one with the giants.

Iron Man Mark 1 Sketch Card

During my breaks from work I try to bone up on technique. One good way for me to do that is to practice drawing and painting a variety of surfaces and "edges". So I wanted to try this "beat metal" look on the old Mark 1. Plus I'm trying a grey gesso instead of the white.
