The Authority. Engineer and Carrier, procees
So here's the process pics of a recent painting I did for the ol Periodic Heroes blog. Go see the finished image here. Below are pics of all the major steps. And the painting is for sale HERE
Step 1. Initial pencil drawing. This was a REALLY quick drawing of the Engineer and the Carrier. I was hoping to add more with the next stage of pencil application.
Step 2. Add clear gesso on the penciled surface. oooo texture....
Step 3. Black Prismacolor pencil drawing.
Step 4. After I add a bit of medium gray tone over the whole piece, I add some splatter with some, almost black, ink.
Step 5. Start applying glazes of color with the airbrush
Almost done.

Just finished this for Periodic Heroes
Hey everyone
You can see a little snippet below of a painting I just finished for the Periodic Heroes blog. I'll be putting the entire piece on Periodic Heroes probably Sunday and I'll post all the process pics here. And if you've never visited that fine blog you're missing out. Go check it out.

General Lee (not the car)
This is for my brother Vern.
So my bro is a civil war buff and I did him a painting of Stonewall Jackson some years back. So I figured I should do him a General Lee for Christmas this year. So you'll find it below. I took lots of shots of the process of this but my SD card freaked out and most of them were erased or damaged. arrggghhh!
