So I decided to try out the ol "blue line" method of coloring. I tell my students about it, and it's been a while since I tried it so here it is (
original line art here). For those of you who don't know what that is, I'll explain. First you just pencil and ink like normal, then you make a print of the art either in blue, or light grey (what I did here) and color with whatever media you choose. Then you marry the line art and color together (you used to do it by making the line art a transparency and laying it on top of the color, I just did that digitally).
